Wiimote Motion Analysis for Human Walking

This project tracks up to 4 points on 2 unique wiimotes. It was originally developed for Aiko Thompson reseach into new techniques for rehabilition of human walking.

The idea is that if you don't have $100,000+ dollars for a top of the line motion analysis system, you can do motion analysis for less than $200 dollars. The biggest expense being the wiimotes ($40 each). We also use 8 infrared leds (we bought ours at radioshack for about $1 each). Some resistors, AA batteris, etc were needed.

The code we use is just a modification of the wiimote lib. You can download it on my sourceforge project page.
